Thomas Frank reports in USA Today that, given the economic recession, five states (Hawaii, Connecticut, New York, Missouri, and Texas) and the federal government are pushing new rules to restrict job applicant credit checks run by employers. Frank reports that about 43% of U.S. employers run credit report checks on job applicants, according to the Society for Human Resource Management and security consultant Kroll. The state of Washington enacted restrictions in 2007.

The credit bureaus should be charged with Horse Stealing… .as it was in the 1800′s.
Where the CRIMINALITY comes in…is that they have essentially left you stranded to die without
a job….knowing that an employer will most likely not hire you.
This is why in the WILD WEST…if YOU stoled someone’s horse…they would hang YOU ….without a horse your very life was threatened…you were exposed to robbers and wild animals….without a horse…you couldn’t
work or survive…you were dead !
But we are more civilized…it should be a FELONY CRIME for anyone working in a Credit
Bureau to divulge such information to an employer…and for any employer to request
such information…a jail term not less than 10
years mandatory ….we are dealing with life or death….and that ” peace of mind ” is guaranteed
under the Constitution.
